Here’s Things You Can See in World Press Freedom Day 1!


World Press Freedom Day’s pre-events starting on May 1st 2017. The pre-event is held at Jakarta Convention Center, Indonesia. There are some interesting conferences, photo exhibitions, and workshops. As many as 101 countries which are participating the pre-event, such as Afghanistan, Austria, Australia, Bangladesh, and many more.

Some of the workshops on the first day are Training Youth on Media Information Literacy and Civic Journalism which is organized by UNESCO Bangkok Office & Rappler Indonesia and Human Rights and Safety for Journalists which is organized by Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI).
